Remembering Rich Mullins

Rich Mullins is remembered as one of the best songwriters of the last 50 years, especially honored for his heart-on-sleeve songs about his Christian faith. He tragically left this side of eternity in a fatal traffic accident on September 19, 1997 at the age of 41.

We wanted to carve out a little space on the internet where we could honor his legacy and invite you into the creation process of some special projects that celebrate the music of Rich Mullins.

Back to Bellsburg

In 2022, a team of producers, artists, and Rich’s friends and family came together to create the chart-topping double-length tribute album called Bellsburg. We now return to Rich’s old house (now Connie’s) to record more of Rich’s songs with more artists on the 2026 follow up Back to Bellsburg… The Songs of Rich Mullins. This new project will be distributed through Old Bear Records, with performances by David Mullins, Cory Asbury, Andrew Peterson, Brandon Heath, Ashley Cleveland, Jill Phillips, and over a dozen other artists.
